Thank You for Your Donations

The current grass surface is susceptible to unpredictable climate conditions, which limits its playability to a single sport. Historically, every spring, the field is renovated to recapture the condition that we desire for the fall season. This reconditioning of the field causes it to be unused for the entire spring and summer.

A new artificial turf field would accommodate three times the number of students to use the field for athletic practices and events (football, soccer, marching band, lacrosse, softball, baseball). The field would also be used for Phys. Ed classes, youth programs, and other community events. A turf field would be far more accessible year-round for students and community members.

  • Increased field usage by ALL outdoor athletic teams.
  • During inclement weather, we would allow participation to occur on a turf field.
  • Lacrosse teams will be able to play ALL home games on a turf field.
  • Soccer teams could move to the turf field during inclement weather.
  • Provides additional space for a strength & conditioning program.
  • Provides a high quality and reliable space for camps/clinics.
  • Consistent surface reduces injury rate, particularly knee injuries and concuss

We are thrilled to announce that on September 18, 2019, the CABC presented a check to the Cedarburg School District for 1.125 million dollars!  With your generous support, we were able to surpass our fundraising goal for the turf project!  Thank you to all of our generous sponsors and all that helped make this dream a reality!
